Ski Touring in Jämtland
Our ski tours start in Östersund, where we drive electric cars to our favourite mountains. We ride behind snowmobiles for the last 10-15km before putting on our climbing skins:
- Almdalen. (Jan-Feb)
- Mjölkvattnet/Offerdalsfjällen (Feb-Mar)
- Helags, 1797m above sea level. (Mar-Apr)
The ski tours are day trips. If you're interested, we can arrange a multi-day trip with overnight stays at Helags and Almdalen.
Included: transport by car to the mountain, snowmobile tow and guiding, (avalanche safety equipment if you don't have your own)
Not included: ski touring equipment, snacks
Requirements: you must be able to ride behind a snowmobile for approx. 12 km and hike approx. 1000 vertical metres.
Price: 995 kr for those with a Scandinavian SkiPass (regular price: 1495kr). The discount is applied automatically at checkout when you purchase a lift pass.

📍 Location: We depart from Östersund. If you're arriving by train or plane, we'll coordinate the departure time.
