Praline

Restrictions: 5 days of your choice

Prali is one of those little hidden Italian powder gems you’ve only dreamed of. A big mountain with three slow lifts that let you ski in different directions. Prali is known for its excellent tree skiing. Sparse, steep larch forest!

The lifts take you up to 2540m, so there are also large ski areas above the tree line, making Prali a snow-sure option if, for example, you’re going to Limone.

Prali is a small, cosy village with a handful of restaurants, a few hotels and some B&Bs. During Retour´d est (easterly snowfall), the car park fills up with campervans in search of powder. Its proximity to Turin means weekends can be busy, but on weekdays you’ll almost have the snow to yourself.

Accommodation suggestion: B&B La Cuccia di Elfo. Skip Booking.com and contact silvia.pieruz72@gmail.com directly. Mention that you have a Scandinavian SkiPass to get a great price and a fantastic breakfast (she doesn’t accept cards. Bring cash!).
