Trillevallen is the family paradise in Southern Årefjällen. The lifts are located on a east-facing slope that collects large amounts of snow. Often you can find untouched powder several days after snowfall. With large areas and gentle slopes, Trillevallen is the perfect place to ski powder with the whole family. The facility has been modernized in recent years with, among other things, a new restaurant and a 4-seat chairlift.

Summit tour/Ski Touring: Välliste is a perfect summit tour mountain for beginners. Follow the trail past the Järvlift up toward the summit. Sparse, beautiful birch forest makes it suitable to hike uphill even in tougher weather. For those seeking a greater challenge, Ottfjället with 770 meters of vertical drop is about 1 mil away.

How to get here: Train to Undersåker, which is 1 mil away by bus, car, or hotel pickup. 60 mil by car from Stockholm.
