Bydalsfjällen, with its 17 lifts, 40 slopes, and a vertical drop of 420 meters, is Jämtland's second largest ski resort. The high and low zones, excellent slopes, and great park ensure that the whole family is usually satisfied. Bydalsfjällen receives large amounts of dry snow when low-pressure systems roll in from the east/south. There are five restaurants within the ski area. The small ski resort Gräftåvallen is also included in Bydalen.
Ski TouringDrommen, Västerfjället, and Österfjället are classic summit tours with up to 600 meters of vertical drop. Very easily accessible from the lifts.
Getting here: Only 55 km from Östersund when the ice roads over Storsjö are open (otherwise about 80 km). 550 km from Stockholm
