Trillevallen is a family paradise in the southern Åre Mountains. The lifts are located on an east-facing slope that receives plenty of snow. You can often find untouched powder several days after a snowfall. With its wide-open spaces and gentle slopes, Trillevallen is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy powder skiing. The resort has been modernized in recent years, including a new restaurant and a 4-person chairlift.

Alpine touring/Ski touring: Välliste is a perfect mountain for beginner ski tourers. Follow the trail beyond the Järvliften lift towards the summit. Sparse, beautiful birch forest makes it suitable for climbing even in tougher weather. For those looking for a greater challenge, Ottfjället, with 770 meters of vertical drop, is about 1 mile away.

Getting here: Take the train to Undersåker, which is 1 mile away by bus or car, or arrange a pickup with the hotel. 60 miles by car from Stockholm.
