Borgafjäll in southern Lapland is known for its amounts of snow and spectacular nature. The skiing is on two sides of the mountain and the lifts provide a 300 meter drop. 100% natural snow guarantees beautiful slopes and lots of powder. Borgafjäll has been crowned Sweden's best forest skiing several years in a row and we are inclined to agree. .
Top Tour/Ski Touring : Borgafjäll is something of a top-tour mecca. Klöverfjället, Borgahällan and a number of difficult-to-spell mountains are excellent peaks for ski climbing with a height difference of about 700 meters.
Get here : Car from Sthlm: 72 miles, Östersund: 27 miles, Umeå 31 miles. Relatively easy to drive and nice road.
